Day 1:
Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee
- Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh and transfer to your hotel.
- Take the rest of the day to acclimatize to the high altitude of Leh (3,500 meters).
- Explore the local markets and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of the region.
Day 2:
Leh and Monasteries
- Visit the famous monasteries of Leh, such as Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Monastery, and Shey Palace.
- Explore the ancient Leh Palace and enjoy panoramic views of the city from the palace rooftop.
- Visit Shanti Stupa, a Buddhist white-domed stupa offering stunning views of the surrounding landscapes.
- Spend the evening exploring the local markets and trying traditional Ladakhi cuisine.
Day 3:
Nubra Valley
- Depart from Leh and drive through the world’s highest motorable pass, Khardung La (5,359 meters).
- Reach Nubra Valley , known for its breathtaking landscapes, sand dunes, and double-humped Bactrian camels.
- Visit Diskit Monastery and enjoy the panoramic views of the valley from the monastery.
- Experience a unique camel ride on the sand dunes of Hunder.
- Overnight stay in a camp or hotel in Nubra Valley.
Day 4:
Return to Leh and Departure
- After breakfast, return to Leh from Nubra Valley.
- Visit the Magnetic Hill , known for its magnetic properties that can pull cars uphill.
- Explore the beautiful Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers at Sangam.
- Transfer to Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport for your departure.
